St. Peter’s Church
is a community of people who acknowledge Jesus Christ as our
Lord and Saviour and seek to follow him in our daily lives.
We offer a friendly welcome to anyone who comes, whether as
a regular or as a visitor. Our services and activities run
on most days of the week, and not just Sundays. Our membership
includes all ages from new-born to very senior! Services embrace
both traditional and ‘modern’ patterns, formal
and informal styles. We run a variety of small-group activities,
including house groups, social groups, and groups for people
with particular skills. We also run regular Alpha courses
which give both committed Christians and those who are not
sure what they believe the opportunity to learn about and
discuss the Christian faith. Please refer to ‘Church
Groups’ for more details about the Alpha Course.
We hope that there is something for everyone.
Whether you are a confirmed Christian or an interested enquirer,
we invite you to join with us in deepening our faith in Jesus
and living out his commands. We look forward to meeting you
in person soon.
